    Ikons deconstruct the essence of rock 'n' roll, isolate some of its basic features, and repeat them until a transcending force appears.

    Ikons: Exquisite machinery, awesome power, smoothly shifting through one gear after another, ascending, majestically soaring, charging through the limits of spacetime, just to finally let go and tumble back down in a glorious blaze.

    What a trip!

    Afterwards, in a lingering dream state, dazzled, trying to comprehend where you’ve been, you slowly realise: Nowhere.

    The artwork is concluding a certain Service aesthetics; from The End of Fame to Optimistmens hån, The New School and Tacking to Ikons.

    Diamond transformed to a drop: solid gone fluid.
