  • On this record, Ikons isolated some of rock and roll's basic elements, and repeated them til transcendence.

    Ikons are an exquisite machinery with awesome power, smoothly shifting through one gear after another until ascending, majestically soaring, and charging through the limits of spacetime, just to finally let go and tumble back down in a glorious blaze.

    What a trip!

    Afterwards, dazzled, in lingering dream state, trying to comprehend where you’ve been, you slowly realise: Nowhere

    The artwork concludes a certain Service aesthetics: from The End of Fame to Optimistmens hån, The New School and Tacking to Ikons.

    Diamond transformed to a drop: solid gone fluid.
