    Their idea was to make analogue dance music without filters or effects.

    A frustrated sound engineer once tried to explain to the band that is is necessary to use artificial techniques to accomplish the appearence of natural sound. Artifice is constitutive of nature.

    Therein lay an involuntary crash course on the Derridean concept of différence. The band did not take notes.
