  • This lEp is Jens’ farewell to his alias Rocky Dennis. The first track probably is the reason Jens involuntarely got his alias from the start, as someone mistook the name in the title for the artist’s. But it is the name of the disfigured boy Rocky Dennis and the song is the story about him and his blind girlfriend, in the form of a farewell letter as imagined by Jens.

    The Ep has some of Jens’ finest songs; existential theme, exquisite narration in a light and effortless style. I have a proper reason to cry, and it’s the crushing beauty of these songs.

    Of course the Service diamond had to have wings on the very DIY artwork that fronts Jens’ lyrics.
