  • Double A-side single debut from the Berlin-based group led by Bergen-born cosmopolitan Erlend Øye.

    Their idea was to make analogue dance music with no filters or effects.

    A frustrated sound engineer once tried to explain to the band that it is necessary to artificially manipulate the sound in order to accomplish the appearance of original, non-manipulated sound; artifice is constitutive of the natural.

    Here lied an involuntary crash course on the Derridean concept of différance. The band did not take notes.
